A
CRITICAL REVIEW REPORTS ON VIABILITY OF THE SCHEME.
Ten Gomitras have joined their respective G.Ps and performing A.I works. The works of Gomitras are supervised by C.D.V.O/S.D.V.O and V.A.S at regular interval. 5 Gomitras have undergone training at L.I.T.C Bhanjanagar. They are now sent to respective V.Ds for practical training during last week of January 2006. Further advertisement has been made for posting of new 9 nos. of Gomitras. The respective V.A.Ss has been advised to complete the selection process as early as possible.

The Gomitra should be given honorarium of Rs.1000/- per month to popularize the programme. The Gomitra should deposit User fees as prescribed and deposited by the Deptt. A.I workers. They should also be provided with medicines and vaccines for first-aid treatment and vaccination respectively. They should be given refresher courses on A.I from time to time at F.S.B Cuttack.

We have received Rs.10,000/- to conduct the Seminar as per instruction of the Director. The Collector has been apprised to kindly fix up the date and time for the seminar.
FLOW OF FUNDS UNDER N.P.C.B.B
PROGRAMME TO PURI DISTRICT:
AID FROM OTHER AGENCIES:
Rs.245.65 lakhs has
been approved by D.R.D.A for health coverage, expansion of Frozen Semen Sector, control of
F.M.D. training programme of farmers, Vertical Tanker, construction of 3 V.D. building, 15
L.A.C.and outdoor of Puri Veterinary Hospital.
CONSTRAINTS:
1.
For
transportation of L.N2 to filed institution which is a major factor in maintaining cold
chain and achievement of A.I
proposed to provide one
TATA-207 DI vehicle/Mahindra Maxx {Pickup van} of else the transportation charges of
the private vehicle may
be enhanced Rs.6.00 per Kilometer.
2.
The
primary units i.e. all L.A.Cs and Vet. Dispensary should be provided with minimum needs
like Chair, Table,
Almirah, and Whatnot
etc. with official stationeries.
3.
Repair
and construction of need by L.A.Cs and veterinary Dispensary may kindly be taken up with
user fees.
4.
T.E
ceiling of V.A.S and A.V.A.S may kindly be modified.
5.
F.T.A
of Livestock Inspectors may kindly be increased 200 per month.
6.
Specific
medicines may kindly be supplied for infertility camps to achieve the increasing den?
CONSTRAINTS TO ACHIEVE THE TARGET:
I.
Required Quantity of L.N2 to be supplied in time.
II. Funds towards
transportation of L.N2 may be provided.
III.
Mobile Centers may be increased
10% in each year.
Shortage L.I and attendant {30 No. of L.I posts are lying vacant in the District}
