Preparation & Revision of Electoral Rolls,

Preparation of Electors’ Photo ID Cards (EPIC),

Elections to Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assembly in the
district,
Collector & District Election Officer is the Head of
Office at district level under provisions of Representation of
People Act, 1950 and 1951.The office is manged by Deputy Collector
appointed
by Home(Elections) Department, Govt. of Orissa. Sub-Collector &
ERO is the Sub-Divisional head responsible for preparation
of Electoral Rolls, Elector’s Photo ID Cards and conduct of
elections. Tahasildar, Puri is the AERO for Puri Municipal area and BDOs
in their respective Blocks.
